SWEET BEGINNINGS: Kristen and Chase met at a mutual friend’s lake house over Memorial Day weekend in 2011.
PERFECT PROPOSAL: Chase’s cousin, Jason, is a wedding videographer in Dallas. Jason sent Chase an email asking that he and Kristen “stand in as models for him to use on some new marketing material,” at Chase’s request. Soon after, the couple met Jason at White Rock Lake for a photo shoot. A few pictures in, Chase got down on one knee and asked Kristen to be his forever as Jason captured it all on film. Kristen said yes, of course, and Chase arranged for their families to pick them up in a limousine. The rest of the evening was spent in joyful celebration.
GET HER LOOK: The bride wore a slim mermaid gown of ivory lace by Roz la Kelin featuring a sweetheart neckline and puddle train hemline edged in scallop lace trim.
AMAZING ALTAR: Kristen and Chase wanted their wedding to have a timeless, romantic and luxurious feel. To evoke this, a chandelier dangled from a pecan tree during the ceremony and three chandeliers dazzled in the ballroom, adding a little extra charm to the venue.
SPECIAL TOUCHES: STEMS Floral Design and Productions made an unimaginably gorgeous floral runner for the head table, transformed the ballroom with drapery, and made a sweet sign of the Bible verse, “I have found the one whom my soul loves,” one of Kristen’s favorite pieces from the wedding.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: When Kristen and Chase sat down to eat dinner at their reception, they had a view of all their guests sitting at their tables, laughing and sharing a meal. It was exactly what they had dreamed of for their wedding day.
