This Parisian inspired lounge designed and styled by Big Time Creatives enhanced the architecture and artful affair at UMLAUF Sculpture Garden and Museum! Shelley Elena Photography captured the essence of this design centered around a charming Parisian daybed from Premiere Events. Whim Hospitality arranged a lush floral installation to wrap the rental piece in feminine shades of plum, berry, lavender and blush that truly took our breath away! Complementing the French setting, Simon Lee Bakery created an  incredible, eye-catching macaron-covered cake to sit alongside the lounge. The model bride looked beautiful in her lace, sheath gown from Serendipity Bridal with an elegant updo and girlie chic makeup by My Style Team. Cheers to this stunning scene!

From the planners, Jordan and David of Big Time Creatives: “Even though the Parisian Lounge from Premiere Events is so beautiful on its own, we decided to create a bed of floral and have the bride surrounded by pops of color. Sticking with the Parisian theme, we chose a cake that was covered in macarons. Although this shoot was very simple, we wanted to create a WOW element that would highlight the pieces.”

We can’t take our eyes off this adorable couple captured by Elizabeth Denny Photography! You can really see the connection Lisa and Sean have, and the open field gives the perfect backdrop to the two’s fun and playful personalities.

Photos: Elizabeth Denny Photography

Lisa and Sean met while attending the University of Texas at Austin. Sean was Lisa’s roommate’s best friend! Sean took one look at Lisa while helping her roommates decorate the house, and said “Wow! I’ve got to meet her!” Sean popped the question at the couple’s favorite park on campus, making the moment so special and intimate. While a set of swings the couple had cherished had been torn down prior to the proposal, Sean and Lisa still reminisced on some of the most meaningful moments of their relationship in that park.

The couple’s big day is planned for New Year’s Eve! They plan to celebrate with a wedding in shades of gray, sage green, ivory and mixed metallics, all to complete an old Hollywood glam style! Some of the couple’s signature touches to the wedding are the food and drink selections. There will be Mexican Mules and French 75s to complete both the bride and groom’s choice of cocktails, all complementing a raw oyster bar by Royal Fig CateringCheers to the bride and groom-to-be!

In an elegantly refined take on classic boho wedding style, Penelope L’amore Photography brings us the most swoon-worthy outdoor shoot from a recent workshop by Rising Tide Society sure to inspire the inner free-spirit bride in us all! A sunny day set the perfect backdrop for the lovely model bride and groom and their host of beautifully thematic decor elements in everything from the dainty, antique-looking paper suite to the worn wood table and chair set and its place settings atop. The Bloom Bar created easy, picked-from-the-meadow inspired table arrangements, a bouquet and even a flower crown filled with lush greenery and splashes of punchy and sweet hues in blush, coral and peachy pink roses. A separate table held the true treats to the pseudo-celebration: a table full of sweets from 2tarts in the form of macarons, mini parfaits, a chocolate groom’s cake and a four-tier cake with fondant embellishments resembling a macrame dream catcher. Talk about a true bohemian rhapsody! We can’t get enough of this dreamy shoot!

Inspired by simple beauty, Mandy Millican of Modern Whimsy Events designed a contemporary and stylish wedding scene atop the The Vaughn Event Venue‘s rooftop in downtown Austin. Giving a feminine touch to this modern setting, Mandy added soft linens and pops of teal and pink! Setting the scene, a wooden farm table from Marquee Event Group was adorned with tapered candles and mismatched dinnerware from The Vintage Laundry, garden-esque greenery by Remi and Gold, and a variety of colorful desserts from Simply Delicious Custom Cakes. The place settings were completed with vibrant place cards by Paper Place, perfectly complementing the edgy pink, teal and gold invitation suite. The model brides both wore elegant and chic wedding gowns from Serendipity Bridal, and Jessica Roop Beauty & Boudoir created stunning bridal beauty looks tailored to each bride’s style – a sleek pixie paired with a curve-hugging short-sleeve gown and voluminous curls with the open-back, lace illusion gown. Each carried non-traditional bouquets filled with giant pink blooms and leafy greens, also arranged by Remi + Gold. Thanks to Anastasia Strate Photography for capturing every stylish detail from this rooftop inspiration. Happy Monday!

From the planner, Mandy Millican of Modern Whimsy Events: “I wanted to showcase a color that I don’t gravitate toward very often: pink. By keeping the rest of the palette clean and simple, the pink really has a chance to shine, without feeling overbearing. And I love teal, so using it as an accent color, even minimally is always fun.”
